Owner and trainer John C. Oder was born into an equestrian family. His dad, Gene Oder, trained American Saddlebreds, Morgans, and others. Mom, Dolores taught the equitation classes. After working for his dad, John went on to work with such trainers as Chat Nichols, Charlie Smith, Lorie Floyd, J.P. Wheeler, and Alan Blessman.

After moving to his own facility, John has gone on to successfully breed, train and show American Saddlebreds and Shetland Ponies as well as train and show Morgans and others.
